Aidan Hutton

I’m currently the Senior Sales Manager for JE Tipper in Sydney having already spent many years in and around the markets. I have been with JET for the last six years and I’m also responsible for the day to day operation of the Sydney stand.

Originally from the glorious beachside suburb of Narrabeen in the northern beaches area of Sydney, my wife Bree-Anna and I share our home with our young son Brody.  I came into the world of fruit when I worked for an organic wholesaler and accompanied him into the markets on a buying trip.  The fast pace and high energy of the markets environment struck a chord with me – it’s my kind of buzz and I do thrive on the daily challenges of trying to get the best sale prices for my growers.

Although I handle a range of tropical fruits – papaya, pawpaw, limes, longans, lychees, persimmons, custard apples & recently dragon fruit – passionfruit is my biggest product by far.  I’m fortunate to have a great team working alongside me in Sydney, helping me to deliver the product quality and service levels our customers expect, 52 weeks of the year.

Why did I want to be a part of this management committee? The honest answer is that I have a good 25 years left working here & I want to be involved in the growth and development of the industry – it excites me to feel like I can have a very positive impact on this industry and that’s what I intend to do.
