Aldi Australia is part of a privately-owned retail network that has over 10,000 stores and serves millions of people across three continents.
Aldi is in the process of launching a new brand campaign with the slogan “Good Different”, a phrase that the company says will “underpin all aspects of the Aldi business, from product sourcing, to supplier relationships and the customer experience”.
‘Aldi says its key point of difference — and the most important thing for its customers — is pricing and has vowed to maintain that position.‘ Frank Chung, news.com.au
In Aldi stores, Passionfruit are sold in a multi-unit string bag.
This image below is reproduced from aldi.com.au with thanks – 9% of the fresh produce sold in Aldi is sourced from outside of Australia. By comparison Woolworths claim to only sell 4% imported and Coles don’t specify a %, but they do provide a helpful chart showing the country of origin by product by month.
Check out their corporate website for more information about the company.
